PORTRAIT: ESRA

I went to Eutin in Northern Germany to photograph the Artist Esra. Nine years ago she got ripped out of her life in Singapore and startet a new life in Germany. She has done the unthinkable. This is her portraiture:

This is Esra, the Artist.

Her dog, Murphy, is always by her side.

She owns her dream car, the Citroen DS-21.

She started her new life with nothing to her name and is now a renowned artist, selling her Artworks for prices starting at 6.000€.

Esra is a painter whose latest artwork-series  depicts scenes from Singapore.

In the beginning, no one believed in her and told her to work at grocery store but she would not give up on her dreams and on her life like that.
